Love This Place!

We stayed at the black canyon inn in july. What a great property! It sits in a nice secluded area with mountains and trees surronding it. The staff was very welcoming and helpful.Our condo was perfect. It was very clean and well decorated. The size for two people is more than enough. It had a full kitchen with several appliances and dishes. It also had a great living room with a fireplace. Unlike the previous review, our condo had a very comfortable matress and a full sized fridge. It also had a very large bathroom with a jacuzzi in it. We felt very much at home during our stay. We are planning to stay at the Black canyon inn again in the future.

Quiet getaway

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Black Canyon Inn and the next time we're in Estes Park, we plan to stay there again. Our condo overlooked the pond and we had the pleasure of watching a herd of elk grazing outside our window. The condo was clean and we felt right at home. The area is beautiful, quiet and secluded, and the location is very convenient. It's close to downtown, grocery store, and RMNP.

I will have to admit that the mattress in our unit was uncomfortable, but I'm sure that varies depending on the unit. One word of warning - the fridge is compact which caused a bit of an inconvenience for us but it's not something that can't be worked around.

Great family comfort!

Our stay here was wonderful! The views were magnificent and our condo was suberb. With four of us traveling, and the two kids being teens, we definitely appreciated the extra room we had with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The grill was a plus and for the most part all of the staff was very pleasant. Weddings take precedence here at this time but we loved all of it. It was close to the National Park and Estes; I'm sure that a lot might depend on the individual's condo you are renting, but we felt very much at home. It's pricey but for us, the comfort and all the room we had was worth it. It was not like staying in a "motel room".

Hard to please from Alaska

These two adults and two children loved their stay!. Our condo was great (D6) - roomy, clean, beautiful view. Kids loved the pool, the restaurant was excellent as well. We would absolutely stay at the Black Canyon Inn again. Highly recommended!

The new units!

My wife and I went up for a weekend trip to Estes Park for the first time. We decided to stay at the Black Canyon Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we had no problems at all with our room. We had unit F2 (a brand new unit). We were fortunate to be only the second party to reserve the unit. The furnishings used in the unit were top notch and the interior decor was simply amazing. From our table on the patio, we had an incredible view. I would definitely recommend staying in this unit. It was 1 bedroom, a large master bath (walk in shower, massive jetted tub), and a full kitchen, complete with pots, pans, plates, glasses. We are already planning a trip back to this beautiful place. I highly recommend the Black Canyon Inn.

We stayed in a 2 Bedroom unit for 10 nights.. we were so impressed with the staff, rooms, location and grounds.... we did not want to leave... beautiful grounds.. spacious rooms.. helpful proprietors... Thank You...

little piece of heaven

We have never enjoyed our visit to Estes Park more than we did this summer while staying at the Black Canyon Inn. We found all staff to be very welcoming and helpful. The rooms are gorgeous and very comfortable. We are already planning a return visit.
