The Scottish Festival has been going strong in Estes Park since 1976. There are many festivities for people of all ages to enjoy. From pancake breakfasts, parades, rock concerts, drum lines and more. The parade is a lot of fun! It starts at the west end of main street. You will see pipers, drummers, kilts, jousters and much more. Throughout the weekend you can enjoy a scotch tasting event and hear military bands in an unforgettable display of talent. There are dog and dance competitions, and the athletic events are a crowd favorite. Blacksmiths throw hammers, woodcutters throw tree trunks, masons throw stones, and more. The young dancers, merchandise, jewelry and history are all entertaining as well.

Who can forget the food? There are American and Celtic food choices. Enjoy fall off the bone turkey legs, hamburgers, Scotch, haggis, meat pie, funnel cakes and more.
